Excellent case, provided you understand what you're getting
When used with your iPhone 3G (or in my case a 3GS), this case will:- Protect its back and screen (using the included screen protector) against scratches and scrapes- Improve your grip on it- Hide its fingerprint-prone glossy back (obvious, but worth mentioning)- Do all of these things without turning it into a Zack Morris phoneIf these are the features you're looking for in an iPhone 3G/3GS case (as they were for me), stop looking at other cases and order this one now. You won't be disappointed.However, if you need a case that provides protection against extreme drops, crushing, submersion, radiation, etc. look elsewhere (like the Otterbox Defender).

Fragile, but ....
I've had my case for about 3 weeks now. Everything that the other reviewers have said is true:1. It's thin, so it may break easily2. The matte finish is fragile. In fact, when I first opened mine, it had a noticeable scratch on the back. You can imagine how disappointed I was.3. Does not do much to protect your screen or act as a shock guard. But obviously, if you want a slim/invisible case, you're going to have to make this trade off.BUT, the cases come with a lifetime warranty. Just fill up the RMA on their website, send them the old case and they'll ship you a new one. I know it can be a hassle, but shipping on these things isn't that expensive.All in all, I've owned the following iPhone cases:1. iFrogz deluxe2. Shield Apple 3G case3. Moshi iGlaze4. Almost perfect.
This is a very nice case, and overall I am happy with my choice. The case itself is made of a poly plastic that feels like a slightly grippy rubber and provides a good feel without being sticky at all. It comes with two tough plastic screen protectors which protect the front of the phone nicely but don't interfere with the touchscreen or readability. Overall this case is a good compromise between protection, style, and usability. The one gripe I have is that the volume rocker is more difficult to use by touch alone, as it is quite recessed in comparison to the case itself. Not a huge thing, but it is mildly annoying and is a source of improvement for this otherwise fantastic case.
